I believe it was her mother who had the power to flatten her pelvis to roughly the thickness of paper...
And the big head too. Next time I do themes I'll do a pinhead topic just for you...

I'm somewhat ashamed to have noticed this but I'm quite sure her breasts where not this well developed in the movie.

:)

we need some healthy critiques on this blog.

Dear Andrew,

Thanks for the critique. I am not one to frown upon a solid critique, however, the big head critique has been noted, and I'll be sure to watch out for that when I'm going for realism. However, this is a character who's been tried and tested and it's Disney/Pixar who just might happen to know a thing or two about design. I draw cartoons because real life bores me. Hell, I draw sexy girls because I can. Drawing cartoons is not an excuse to neglect anatomy among other things, but c'mon, I am allowed to have some fun with it and I don't plan on stopping.

fair enough. As you probably know I dont have any problems with distorting proportions, however, i still think it should look a little more natural (like you intended it to look that way). Perhaps you could try thinning out the body even more to emphasize the cartooniness of it (and add more of a neck).
just my 2 cents.

well...on this particular piece, the distorted proportions were 100% intentional. I was trying to stick to model while adding a touch of Tooninator flair. There's no point in directly imitating. Perhaps a little more neck could work though
