Just a random girl this time. I saw a photo of this a long time ago and I found it again.

that dark line for the chin is really dark. just use tone to define where the jaw is. And those legs are really big. pretty cool all around though, the face is nice but the eyes don't follow the contours of the head.

thanks for the crit, andrew. I uploaded a new version where I changed the jawline and leg. I couldnt do anything about the eyes. :P

See... this is why I can't ever be an art critic- it just wouldn't work at all... because I think she looks fabulous! I like her striking facial features and the contours of her body look very feminine and soft. I really like this one Muffin! I especially love that hair- makes me want to dye my hair again =P
Well... I guess I'm just stuck being the praise crazy person on here... lmao... I was looking at my comments, and I always end up screaming about how much i love the piece... hahaha... ah well... we all need encouragement right?!?

first of all Muffin....this is great!!. I really like the hair...it's very striking. As for crits...Andrew covered some, but I'd say add a bit of colour into her face...she's got the appearance of Michael Jackson a tad bit. Also, same as Erica, I'd like to see your linework smoothed a bit, especially when drawing girls...smooth, flowing curves work better for the female form. Maybe vary your line weight as well.
Great improvement here Muffin (:

Matt - thanks, you guys are right. :) I'll try to be more secure and smooth with my lines. It's just not very easy.. but it will one day. :) thanks for being encouraging.
