A combination of Ingres and Botero. Every time I use ink wash I remember why I hate it... warping paper, uneven tone, slow drying... bleck. Aside from that, I like how this drawing came out.
I like this one too. Aside from Botero-like innocence of the face, also see Picasso influence here (as in a lot of your stuff. Here am thinking of Picasso line drawings.) For example, the pudgy hands and feet, very convincingly drawn with a few curved lines.

james: yeah, I've been having a bit of an affair with Picasso as of late. He seems to be coming out in all of my recent work whether I intend it or not!
