54 - anime
Arrh... I really cant do anime. I used to draw it actually. Or elfquest-styled. But I havent in ages and man this was hard. I actually love some anime movies - like Totoro and Naushika and Chihiro and Mononoke-hime, and I've seen the complete Neon Genesis Evangelion and I looooooved it. So here's Rei for ya. Sorry.. I just drew a copy of her, I couldnt come up with something new.
It's weird how many of us became interested in drawing because of anime...
ReplyDeleteI like the orange and blue color scheme, but all of your colors seem really pale and washed out. I dunno if that was intentional, it does add a bit of a soft quality to the image.
I'm gonna have to say that as embarrassing as it may be, I applied to college with a whole lot of anime inspired pieces...yuk. It hurt just to do this theme.
